Jen Sethasang

Jen Sethasang is a fourth grade teacher at Lockwood Elementary, a public school in East Oakland, California. I spent the day with her and her 4th grade class and left feeling that she is the kind of teacher that you remember when thinking back to your childhood. It had been years since I had been in a grade school classroom, but it quickly became apparent to me how much of an impact teachers can have on kids that age. In many cases, grade school teachers spend more time with kids than their parents do.
